With his years of experience as a volleyball trainer/coach, John B. is  active in Victoria-Australia. Since 2021 as Club trainer for Melbourne University Renegades and since 2022 as coach for the state Victoria. With a U16 boys team, John B. participated in the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships in 2022 and 2023. Since September 2023 he is also the volleyball coach of St. Kevins College, which are playing matches in the APS (Associated Public Schools of Victoria) competition. At the end of the APS competition, John B. was chosen as one of the 2 coaches who were coaching the APS selection team. Out of the 9 private schools a selection of players was made, to play a match against a team of the AGS ( Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria)
